The Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA) is currently accepting resumes for the position of Director of Architecture, at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport. The Director of Architecture is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Office of Architecture providing leadership guidance and vision through the management of professional staff. This responsibility includes creating and implementing policies and procedures for the architectural design of projects at BWI Marshall and Martin State Airports. Prerequisite management skills to direct and supervise the work of staff, consultant teams, and contractors is required. This position is responsible for implementing, administering and supervising the interpretation and application policies, directives and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations. This position also provides oversight of general administrative functions, including the approval of budgets and the development of policies and guidelines.
