CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR(S) - ON CALL
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. We are looking to hire on-call construction administrator(s) to work with our aviation group. Responsibilities include construction administration on airfield grading, drainage, pavement and electrical systems projects; coordination of survey work and materials testing; serving as owner’s representative to monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications; and assisting with progress meetings. Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver’s license is required. Extended hours and overnight stays may be required. This position is part-time and will be located at various project sites around Washington and neighboring states; it is currently an on-call (i.e., no benefits) position which could potentially be converted to a regular, benefits-eligible position.
CONSTRUCTION RESIDENT INSPECTOR
Passero Associates is seeking a Construction Resident Inspector to work on airport, roadway, and building-related projects in the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Fort Wayne areas. Responsibilities include overseeing progress, on-time performance, field documentation, and Q/A on major construction projects and coordinating-managing Q/A inspection personnel and testing companies on all construction phases. Qualifications include: Degree in civil engineering, construction or architectural technologies, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Experience working on Air Carrier Airports preferred. 10+ years of experience with airport, transportation/roadway, and building inspection projects. Familiarity with current Ohio and Indiana policies and procedures for construction inspection preferred. Working knowledge of Primavera Scheduling, MS Project, Word, Excel & Outlook. Basic CAD knowledge/experience preferred. Ability to obtain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required. On-airfield driving and control tower communications experience preferred. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Transportation. Duties are performed within the policies established by the City of Denton and the Director of Transportation, but considerable independent judgment is required in making managerial level decisions.

The City of Lynchburg is seeking a dynamic leader who will play an integral part in the succession plan of the incumbent Airport Director, and potentially assume this vital position upon his retirement in one to two years. The Deputy Airport Director acts as the Chief Operating Officer and performs complex technical and responsible senior management work in the daily operations, planning and management of Lynchburg Regional Airport and is directly responsible for airport operations, maintenance, custodial, FAR Part 139 certification and TSA Part 1542 security functions for the airport. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with major course work in aviation management, business, public administration or related field; commercial service airport experience with varied knowledge of multiple department functions required. The position creates and maintains financial models, provides accurate client reports, reviews budgets, manages revenue projections, and assists in finding solutions to capital program budget funding challenges. A bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting from an accredited institution and five years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience required. CPA Certification and/or MBA is preferred.
