Federal, state, local and insurance authorities bylaws require physical plant mechanical equipment to be monitored by licensed Engineers continuously. The Central Plant Manager or Chief Operating Engineer must register his Engineering License at City Hall, in the Safety and Permit Division, on behalf of the Airport, to protect life, property and equipment. Responsibilities: Compliance with federal, state, local and insurance authorities. Managing the Plant Operation department, including budget, payroll, meetings, reports, PM scheduling, e-mails, evaluation, work assignments, training, purchasing, hiring, terminations, and inventory. Life Safety I Fire Protection (fire pumps and emergency generators). Project Manager (design of construction of the new terminal). Coordinates phases of development including requests for proposals for architectural/engineering services, development of plans and specifications, project budget and schedules, construction, construction administration and inspection and project closeout.
Mojave Air & Space Port seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our airport facilities, infrastructure and undeveloped land maintenance program. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing a team of maintenance personnel; plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or structural painting experience; have working knowledge of airports; possess a Class B driver’s license; and possess a general contractor’s license. This position will report to the Director of Operations. DUTIES. The successful selectee will perform the following duties: Provides oversight for a recurring facility preventive maintenance program. Oversees and performs projects to include prioritization, scheduling, sustainment. Develops employee work schedules accounting for overtime or schedule changes as required for customer support. Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements and minor and/or major construction. Establishes and maintains an employee maintenance training and development program.
CASUAL AIRPORT OPERATIONS AIDE
This position is responsible for the safety and security of the Airport Operations area encompassing all airport property physically located within the airport security fence, and all relevant Authority interests and properties managed by the Airport Division in accordance with Authority policies, rules and regulations, and local, state, and federal guidelines. Incumbents may be required to work shift schedules as assigned. This casual position is part-time with no guaranteed minimum number of hours, nor are there any guaranteed assignments. Based at Cape May Airport, this position also serves the Millville Airport. AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the runways and taxiway system under Part 139 requirements, and relevant Authority interests and properties managed by the Airport Department in accordance with policies, rules, regulations, and local, state, and federal guidelines. Operations Coordinator staff are required to work shift schedules as assigned. Staff may also be called upon to perform additional duties, including duties related to routine facilities maintenance such as snow removal, as needed. This position is essential and is subject to call 24 hours a day as necessary to maintain operations at the Wilmington Airport - ILG, a commercial airport in the Philadelphia Region. Ability to pass airfield driver certification, Part 139 and SIDA testing within 60 days of hire; Subject to background investigation, STA and CHRC; Ability to be trained in the operation of a firearm; Effective communication skills; Closing Date: April 8, 2017.
