The Metropolitan Airports Commission welcomes applications for an Airside Operations Intern. This is a 12-week assignment and the hours of the position will range between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. PURPOSE: Manage Aviation Division leases, primarily within Ground Transportation (GT) and serve as a liaison between the Port, tenants and customers. Provide essential services to the Port of Seattle by managing key business relationships at Sea-Tac International Airport, as landlord, to the Port’s many GT tenants and customers. Provide high-level negotiation, financial analysis, communication and account management for the Port’s new and existing airport GT tenants. The San Luis Valley Regional Airport is looking for a hands on airport professional who wants to take a leading role in the airport's certification and safety program. The San Luis Valley Regional Airport is non-primary commercial service airport located in Southern Colorado. Passenger traffic doubled from 2015 to 2017 and is growing. The airport is undergoing its first market area analysis with a strategy of growing to 10,000 enplanements during the next two-year term of Essential Air Service, which is set to begin October 1, 2018. The Airport Operations/Maintenance Superintendent is an FLSA-exempt position under the general supervision of the Airport Manager. The Airport Operations/Maintenance Superintendent assigns, supervises, and inspects work of Airport Operations/Maintenance staff; assists with and performs airfield operations and performs other tasks to ensure compliance with FAA/TSA standards; and responds to and assists with the control of airport emergencies at the San Luis Valley Regional Airport.
