Responsible for planning and managing engineering related design and construction projects for Redmond Municipal Airport. Manages assigned Airport and Tenant projects at RDM to ensure that they are well planned, coordinated, scoped, budgeted and designed; constructed safely, on schedule, within budget, with good quality, with minimal operational impacts and with positive effects on overall security. Coordinates all phases of development including requests for proposals for architectural/engineering services, development of plans and specifications, project budget and schedules, construction, construction administration and inspection and project closeout. Other responsibilities include assisting other RDM airport departments with respect to engineering and construction issues and managing various ongoing engineering programs/projects.
STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Responsible for supervising the operation of the marketing and public relations division of the San Antonio Airport System (SAAS). Identify and develop the advertising, marketing and public relations program to attract the interest of the aviation industry, conventions, conferences, business/leisure travelers and media opportunities. Manages, leads and motivates Marketing and PR staff. Identifies existing markets and develops new advertising strategies. Manages budget and resources, analyzing results and marketing & public relations strategies. Plans and supervises implementation of strategic communications strategies. Manages the communication and business information, covering publication, print, video, social media and website. Researches alternative media strategies for promoting the airport. Works with media to position SAAS & Stinson Airport as leaders in the industry. Ensures strategic, timely and accurate responses to media inquiries. •Develop comprehensive and accurate information and talking points for interviews, news conferences, and responses to media inquiries. Disseminate regular news releases about the Aviation Department.
AIRPORT SAFETY MANAGER
Develops, implements, and directs all facets of the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Safety Program (SMS) to ensure compliance with standards and specifications mandated by FAA, DOT, EPA, OSHA and other governmental programs related to the Aviation industry. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the day-to-day operations and performance of Airport SMS program. Analyzes, develops, and /or revises existing components of airport Safety Programs. Tracks safety recommendations, hazards, risks, findings, corrective actions, contributing factors and causes to ensure accurate reporting and follow up. Analyzes trends and statistics based upon SMS data and makes recommendations to executive staff as required. Assists in the development of budget and monitors expenditures. Performs other safety-related duties as required.
AIRPORT SECURITY MANAGER
Develops, implements, and directs all facets of the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Security Program (ASP) to ensure compliance with standards and specifications mandated under Transportation Security Administration Regulations CFR 49 part 1542 and 1544 pertaining to the safety and security of a commercial airport. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the day-to-day operations and performance of Airport Security, including Regulatory Compliance and ID Badging. Analyzes, develops, and /or revises existing components of the Airport Security Program in response to continual and ongoing revisions of TSRs 1542 and 1544. Acts as liaison between the airport and the TSA, Home Land Security, local law enforcement entities, airlines, tenants, and others. Develops section budget and monitors expenditures. Supervises the performance of the assigned staff; develops and monitors employee work-plans; counsels, coaches, and instructs employees, and; prepares performance evaluations. Assists with staff hires, promotions, and disciplines, when appropriate.
