AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
he Airport Operations Manager at Durango-La Plata County Airport manages the daily operations of the airport including runways, taxiways, terminal, and other airport facilities. Responsible for airport certification requirements as set forth in 14 CFR Part 139, compliance with all applicable TSA and FAA regulations, and coordination of day-to-day airport operations and maintenance functions. Provides significant administrative support in the overall management and operation of the airport and may serve as Acting Director of Aviation as required. Coordinates airfield operational activities and projects, assists in the management of the airport contract, lease, and agreement portfolio, assists with the airport marketing and promotion program, manages airport planning/engineering projects, and ensures airport compliance with the provisions of the airport certification manual, airport rules and regulations, and other federal, state, and local ordinances. Manages airfield snow removal operations. Manages the airport revenue parking system. Performs related duties as required.
DIRECTOR, ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS & OPERATIONS
Under general direction of the Chief Asset Officer, the Director, Asset Management is responsible for leading and directing the work of the following functions: Organizational Asset Management, Divisional Work Order Management, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and other asset related data management systems. Responsible for articulating Columbus Regional Airport Authority's philosophy and program components for physical asset management (infrastructure, facilities, vehicles, equipment, pavements, real estate, and related systems). Responsible for the tactical development and implementation of the Strategic Asset Management Plan. Responsible for the development and continuing management of capital renewal programs. Leverages industry expertise, best practices, and key business drivers in developing short and long-range plans and defining results. Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuing operation of Asset Management's data management systems, including the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) and GIS. Responsible for developing staff in asset management principles and philosophies, as well as the technical systems used to maintain such data.
MANAGER, DESIGN DEPARTMENT
The Manager, Design Department in the Office of Engineering, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority manages the Department and acts as principal technical advisor to the Vice President for Engineering and the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on architectural and engineering design management at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Dulles Access Road, and Dulles Toll Road. Manages all facets of architectural and engineering design for Capital Construction Program (CCP) projects and larger projects funded by the Capital, Operating and Maintenance Investment Program (COMIP) at both Airports. Provides engineering design technical guidance, advice, and approval for all projects on Airports Authority property including airline and vendor tenant projects and Virginia Department of Transportation and Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project projects. Conceives and recommends design studies; develops and implements plans for design projects; monitors/oversees the evaluation of design/construction proposals and the selection of firms for contract award.
