In this position, you will provide assistance in the strategic development, implementation, and coordination of media relations, marketing, advertising, special events, communications, and citizen participation activities for the Airport (Colorado Springs Airport).
AIRPORT MANAGEMENT INTERN
This six month airport management internship is an excellent opportunity to develop hands on day-to-day experience at a commercial airport. The commitment is not to be an observer, but to study and understand the principles and objectives inherent in the world of aviation and airport management. Assists with planning and day-to-day functions of administration, operations, maintenance, and related public services. Participates in planning and administration of construction projects and contractual agreements for services. Participates in the preparation of the budget. Assists with a variety of financial/statistical reporting. Assists with safety and security inspections. Assists and responds to concerns of tenants and the traveling public. Participates in long-range planning. Helps develop cost benefit analysis projections and preventative maintenance programs. Assists with air service development and analysis. The City of Wellington is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Manager for the Wellington Airport. Wellington Municipal Airport currently has a 4200' X 100' concrete runway capable of handling aircraft up to 70,000lbs. KEGT boasts two GPS approaches, AWOS, 24 hour self-serve 100LL fueling, full service Pre-mix JetA, and a terminal equipped with real-time weather radar, vending, TV, and phone/fax services. The Line Crew I position will be responsible for performing a variety of operations related to aircraft and airport equipment. Duties will include marshal aircraft in and out on arrival and departure, including monitoring ramp area for customer security and performing daily runway inspections. Safely service and fuel all types of aircraft and airport equipment. Perform minor maintenance on airport equipment. Unload fuel transport trucks and record fuel distribution. Collect ramp fees and fuel charges. Obtain and record the differential pressure readings daily.
AIRPORT OPERATIONS AGENT
The Sugar Land Regional Airport is seeking an Operations Agent to provide assistance in the coordination of aeronautical activities and operations at the Sugar Land Regional Airport. The Operations Agent will perform a variety of work in the overall operations, administration, maintenance, emergency response, construction projects, and customer service at the SLRA. Provide overnight Fixed Based Operator (FBO) support and services to aircraft that utilize the Airport. Such services may include: utilize refuel vehicles that pump Jet-A Aircraft Fuel and AvGas, take on a load of fuel, marshal aircraft, provide lavatory, potable water services, and any other services that may be required.
