MANAGER, AIR SERVICE DEVELOPMENT

Please apply via http://www.flypittsburgh.com/careers SUMMARY Under the limited supervision of the Vice President, Air Service Development, manage existing air service relationships for retention and/or expansion, analyze airport services, aviation issues and trends to formulate marketing activities related to the development of airport passenger and cargo services. REQUIREMENTS: The following requirements list the minimum education/training/experience required to qualify for this job. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing, aviation management, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university. • Five (5) years related experience, 3 years of which must have been at the managerial level; air service development or supply chain management experience a plus. • Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license. Note: license must be maintained throughout employment.

SENIOR PROJECT DIRECTOR
Under the general direction of the Manager of Planning and Design and within the Planning and Development Department, this position represents the Authority in the administrative, operational and technical details of ongoing design activities and provides oversight of project related communication between Authority staff, design consultants, the Authority’s Consulting Engineer, tenants and airport users on airport development projects. This position oversees planning and design elements of capital improvement projects. The position is responsible for ensuring that, from an operational and functional aspect, all design elements are fully coordinated with Airport stakeholders, including meeting all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulatory operational requirements. This position ensures that the design of all projects is proceeding in accordance with the goals, objectives, policies, procedures and processes of the Authority and that all schedule and budget requirements are met.
