Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Airport) is a public use international airport located in the City of Kenner and the Parishes of Jefferson and St. Charles. It is owned by the City of New Orleans and operated by the New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB). LANOIA is the primary commercial airport for the New Orleans metropolitan area and southeast Louisiana, serving over 20 million passengers, annually. LANOIA has two (2) runways: • Runway 11/29 (10,104’ length by 150’ wide) concrete pavement surface • Runway 2/20 (7,001’ length by 150’ wide) concrete pavement surface Runway 11/29 and Runway 2/20 each have parallel and associated connector taxiways. The Birmingham Airport Authority has provided its request that interested, qualified companies submit proposals for the long-term lease of Hangar 7, a corporate/general aviation hangar complex, at 4128 65th Street North at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The complex includes an 8,500 square foot metal office/hangar building situated on a 0.456-acre site (19,856 square feet). The facility was originally built in 1976. Additional improvements include a paved ramp/apron area and a 10,000 gallon jet fuel storage tank. Submittal date is March 12, 2019. The Authority will hold a Pre-Proposal Briefing session on Wednesday, February 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. central time in Meeting Room A at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Sealed proposals must be received and submitted to the attention of Diane Gillam, Properties and Senior DBE Manager, no later than 2:00 p.m. (CDT) on March 12, 2019.
