The Birmingham Airport Authority is providing this Request for Proposals to qualified financial institutions interested in providing a loan of up to $10,000,000 for the construction of the Quick Turn Around Facility (“QTA”) for rental car companies operating at the Airport. The QTA facility is scheduled to begin construction on or about January 31, 2019 and to be completed by March 31, 2020. The total project is estimated at $43,000,000, of which approximately $12 million has been spent-to-date on design and land acquisition. Respondents must submit a term sheet and provide information detailing the following: Interest rate, Fees, other terms and conditions. Submissions must be delivered as shown no later than 1:00 p.m. CDT on December 14, 2018. The estimated date of award for this contract is January 23, 2019.
