The City of Tavares, Florida, “America’s Seaplane City” invites qualified firms to submit statements of their qualifications for a design build project to rebuild the City’s seaplane base and marina destroyed by Hurricane Irma. The project will incorporate a high degree of both innovation and creativity. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) details may be obtained on the City’s website at http://www.tavares.org/bids.aspx?bidID=99. Those wishing to submit MUST attend a Pre-Qualifications meeting. Tuesday December 12th, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Tavares Council Chamber, 201 East Main St. Tavares, Florida 32778. Sealed submittals are invited by the City of Tavares, to be received at the office of the City Clerk, 201 East Main St., Tavares, Florida, 32778 so as to be received not later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 18th 2018. Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) received after this specified time and date will not be considered.
