The Capital Region Airport Commission is accepting responses to a Request for Information (RFI) for Design, Construction, Management and Operation of a General Aviation Facility and Fixed-Based Operator at the Richmond International Airport. Currently, two FBOs operate on Airport, and the contracts for these FBOs will be expiring in January 2026. The Commission is preparing for a new development, to have the general aviation activity associated with the FBOs consolidated to one location for the next contract(s) commencement date. The program would also include a new CBP processing terminal.
This RFI is the opportunity to provide input on best practices the Commission may consider when refining the GA/CBP terminal and fixed-based operator(s) program. The RFI can be accessed by the eVA procurement site at http://www.eva.virginia.gov. Questions are due December 6, 2021 to procurement@flyrichmond.com
