The City of Minot (herein after referred to as “City”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for qualified third parties interested in developing facilities that would serve as or support aeronautical facilities on the designated site at the Minot International Airport (“MOT”). Desired aeronautical facilities include, but are not limited to, aircraft storage hangars, aircraft maintenance facilities, aeronautical manufacturing facilities, or other related facilities that are compliant with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Minot International Airport policies, and support the aviation industry. Project consists of the full depth concrete apron reconstruction and associated drainage improvements at the Mobile Downtown Airport in Mobile, AL. The scope of work generally includes the installation of approximately 15,600 SYD of 16-inch Portland cement concrete pavement on a 6-inch lean concrete base course and select fill material, removal of existing concrete apron pavement, installation of Class V round drainage pipes, installation of new aircraft-rated drainage structures, pavement marking removal and installation, and all associated erosion and sedimentation control measures. The New River Valley Airport Commission operates the New River Valley Airport, a general aviation airport in Pulaski County Virginia. The Commission is requesting statements of qualifications from professional consulting firms interested in providing services for the development of an Airport Master Plan Study. The study will be conducted in accordance with AC 150/5070-6B, including a technical report, AGIS aeronautical survey, aviation forecast, facility inventory, an updated Airport Layout Plan, capital improvement plan, identification of on and off airport land use development opportunities, and other components as necessary. The Request for Qualifications document may be downloaded at www.newrivervalleyairport.com or obtained at the Airport offices. Proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m., May 28, 2020.
