SUPERVISOR - AIRPORT OPERATIONS
This is complex supervisory and technical work involving the daily operations and functions of the airport along with airport safety and security issues related to air carriers, fixed base operators, tenants, federal and state agencies and airport vendors. Work is performed under the general direction of the Superintendent-Airport Operations. Minimum Training and Experience Possession of a bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business or public administration or a related field and three years of experience in airport operations at a commercial service airport; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. In accordance with 49 CFR Part 1542, employees must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and personal background check prior to employment and possess a valid Class E State driver's License at time of appointment. In this position you will direct and manage three teams, Ramp Tower, Airside and Terminal Operations; and report directly to the Senior Director of Operations. This position will respond to airfield emergencies and support the Emergency Management System by developing objectives while implementing strategies and managing plans, programs and projects. This position will include developing annual and multi-year work plans and strategies, ensuring resources are available to achieve work plans, resolving complex business issues, and establishing management practices and processes that ensure the accomplishment of performance standards.

AIRPORT DIRECTOR
The Airport Director, reporting directly to the Hamilton County Airport Authority, manages the safe operation and development of Indianapolis Executive Airport. The Airport Director provides for the overall management, operation, and administration of the Airport and shall be responsible for the safe condition and efficient operation of the Airport to include aircraft operations, airfield maintenance, administration of lessee activities, and the operational and administrative actions associated with these general areas of responsibility. The Airport Director is to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding safety, security, operations, compliance, and zoning.
