The City of South St. Paul is seeking applicants for Airport Manager. Fleming Field Airport is owned and managed by the City of South St. Paul, Minnesota. Fleming Field is the only non-MAC reliever airport in the metropolitan area, providing a first class terminal building for pilots and passengers. The Fleming Field Airport Manager is responsible for the daily management, operations, security, and maintenance of Fleming Field Airport as assigned by the City Administrator. Supervise two airport employees and seasonal/temporary personnel. Develop, implement, and enforce polices, rules, and regulations. Coordinate airport activities with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Minnesota Department of Transportation – Aeronautics Division (MnDOT), and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC). Plan and implement airport improvement projects, including pursuit of grants to offset costs. Develop financial objectives to increase profitability through the implementation of revenue enhancement and operational efficiency. Determine needs, develop operational and capital budgets for the airport.
