DEPUTY AVIATION DIRECTOR AIRPORT OPERATIONS
ABOUT THIS POSITION The City of Phoenix Aviation Department (Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport) seeks a dynamic and results-oriented professional to oversee the Operations Division. Responsibilities include management of Airside Operation involving Airport Certification Program part 139; Landside Operations which includes curb management, traffic enforcement and Ground Transportation operations; maintaining the Security program and compliance with FAR 1542; and Parking operations. This position will also coordinate operational aspects of the Automated People Mover and ground transportation planning efforts to ensure safe, secure, and efficient systems are developed. Successful candidates will be experienced in collaboratively leading successful teams as well as experienced innovatively solving complex issues and leading change initiatives. Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations pertaining to airport management and operations is required. AAAE certification is also desirable. SALARY For Mid Mgr: Up to $131,248 annually. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Under supervision, the Airport Operations Coordinator performs a variety of duties at a general aviation, Part 139 Certificated airport. Responsibilities include recording all aircraft operations for billing purposes, monitoring phones and radios, and coordinating construction projects. As assigned, assist Airport Operations Supervisor in conducting airfield inspections and reporting all deficiencies found on the AOA. Issue NOTAMS as instructed. Responsible for airfield safety to include identifying, preventing, and removing all hazards to aviation including FOD, wildlife, unauthorized vehicles and pedestrian entry. Through in-house training must qualify to operate snow removal equipment and secure certification as a weather observer. Responsible for maintaining customer contacts through positive lines of communication. Professionally represents company through frequent and meaningful contact with the customer. Individual must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Individual will be working in a Teamwork environment. May also perform other duties incidental to the above.EOE
