AIRPORT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
The Portland International Jetport has a new position for an Airport Maintenance Manager. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Operations and Maintenance. This is a senior management position in the oversight of airport maintenance and requires the exercise of judgment and the application of expert knowledge of civil aviation, airports, maintenance operations and personnel management. Responsible for the oversight, evaluation, professional development and disciplinary procedures of maintenance personnel. The successful candidate develops a team environment which fosters professional growth and development with a focus on attaining industry best practices; directs all aspects of airfield maintenance, including snow removal of the runways, taxiways and ramp; directs the airfield construction and equipment portions of the FAA-funded Airport Improvement Program. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Position responsible for day-to-day airside and landside operations of the airport. Assists with rescue and post-accident recovery operations. Conducts ramp and hangar inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations of the Airport. This employee responsible for representing management on all matters concerning airport operations in the absence of higher authority. Acts as the primary contact for Airport management with tenants, FAA Air Traffic Control, Police, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel, contractors and other governmental agencies and city departments.
