AIRPORT MANAGER
The City of Redding invites your interest for the position of Airports Manager. The new Airports Manager will have demonstrated extensive and varied airport administration experience, strong leadership skills, solid inter-personal relationship skills, and financial acumen. The City of Redding is interested in a candidate that possesses a proven record of business development of not only aviation-related business, but also non-aviation companies that do not directly relate to aviation but will contribute to the growth of the airport and local economy. The CAA is seeking proposals to provide airport concession kiosk design, construction, and installation services for future in-terminal businesses at Bradley International Airport. A copy of the RFP may be downloaded in its entirety at: https://ctairports.procureware.com. Firms must be registered to download the RFP and to submit a proposal. CAA will conduct a mandatory pre-proposal meeting/site tour 11:00 a.m. (EST), January 30, 2019, in the 3rd floor of Terminal A at Bradley International Airport. The pre-proposal meeting will include a site tour of areas that are located on the secured side of the Airport; therefore, individuals planning on attending the tour must upload the Temporary Badge Application Form to https://ctairports.procureware.com. This form may be found under the solicitation name RFP No. 2019-007 “Temporary Badge Form” no later than 11:00 a.m. (EST), January 25, 2019. DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF AVIATION, CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT - PHL
The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Deputy Director of Aviation, Capital Development to direct the implementation of the Airport’s Capital Development Program (CDP) for the utilization of physical facilities for both Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE). This involves overseeing all aspects of the CDP effort, including planning, design, engineering, program and construction management, sustainability, and managing internal resources and third-party service providers and contractors.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Business Administration, or related field, ten years of progressively responsible management experience in engineering, four years of which have been in a commercial airport environment. The Deputy Director working alongside the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for ensuring the individual departmental goals are in alignment with the Airport strategic direction.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration or related field, ten years of increasingly responsible management experience in Airport Operations and/or Security, five years of which must have been in a commercial airport environment. Accreditation (AAE) by the American Association of Airport Executives or International Airport Professional (IAP) from Airports Council International is preferred.Posting closes February 8, 2019.
