RISK MANAGER (AIRPORT)
The goal of the City’s risk management program is to minimize risk assumed by the City to the greatest extent possible, through implementation of policies and programs designed to promote safety, minimize hazards and minimize financial exposure. The DOA Risk Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Department of Aviation’s risk management program by assessing DOA’s exposure/risk and recommending risk transfer and mitigation programs. The DOA Risk Manager provides commentary on risk issues in contracts, develops and implements programs in efforts to minimize the total costs of risk through contractual risk transfer, financial risk transfer and loss prevention.
