AIRPORT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PORT OF BELLINGHAM
The Airport Maintenance Technician exclusively supports the Bellingham International Airport’s facilities and performs a variety of work in maintenance, repair, light construction, and modification, of Airport infrastructure, facilities, and related installations, including but not limited to Airport Operations Area (AOA), high- and low-voltage electrical systems, heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), overhead/automated doors, baggage conveyor systems, airport hangars, security gates, parking equipment, elevators, and fire suppression systems. The technician must be able to provide routine and complex maintenance at the Airport and technical and specialized assistance to Management. BUSINESS MANAGER: PROPERTY, MARKETING, SECURITY, & OPERATIONS
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director of Aviation, the Business Manager will formulate and implement airport development and marketing strategies to increase revenue, maximize airport land/facilities development and redevelopment opportunities through the creation of short- and long-term strategies. The Business Manager is also responsible for creating, managing, and implementing the airport’s and FBO’s community relations messages and marketing programs with the goal of fostering community engagement and business development, including airline service. Responsibilities also include overseeing the Lease Management System Database, Airport Security Plan, Airfield Drivers Training Program, Access Control System and coordinating responsibilities/tasks/plans with TSA. The Business Manager will assist the Finance Director with financial matters as determined. The Business Manager will issue NOTAM’s as appropriate and be fully qualified to perform duties required by FAR 139.
