AVIATION SAFETY AND CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST
The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the largest airline pilot union in the world and the largest non-governmental aviation safety organization in the world (representing over 63,000 pilots at 35 U.S. and Canadian airlines) seeks an experienced Aviation Safety and Cyber Security Specialist for our Tysons (McLean), Virginia office. The Aviation Safety and Cyber Security Specialist serves as a coordinator to the Association on the aspects of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transport Canada (TC) new airspace entrants and cyber security matters of importance to the ALPA membership. As such, s/he leads any number of efforts representing the Association's stance(s) to ensure that new entrants into North American airspace system and operations - including drones, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commercial space, and supersonic aircraft - are safe. S/he acts as liaison between the membership, the Engineering and Air Safety Department, other departments, government agencies, and industry.

This position is responsible for directing the execution of strategic and tactical plans to support and increase flights to existing domestic and international markets and attract prospective new airlines and destinations. Position requires a combination of education and experience reflecting possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities, to include graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, market research, or other related field; plus eight years of demonstrated experience in work directly associated with airline route economics, including route planning experience at an airline, as an airline or airport consultant, or similar experience in the Aviation industry. The City of McCall, Idaho, (“City”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) for Professional Consulting Services (“Applicant”) necessary for the preparation of an Airport Master Plan for the McCall Regional Airport (“MYL”). Consulting Firms and or teams (Consultant) shall have extensive, recent and direct experience in all phases of a Master Plan development including aviation planning, environmental planning and permitting, aviation engineering, and financial planning for general aviation airports. The City of McCall’s selection will be based on its evaluation of the written Statement of Qualifications package, the Applicant’s qualifications and experience, client references, an oral presentation (if requested) and the overall fee structure. The City may engage more than one Applicant for services should that be in its best interest. SOQs in whole or in part, must be received by the City Clerk located at 216 East Park, McCall, Idaho 83638. SOQs must be sealed and clearly marked, “Request for Professional Services – Airport Master Planning for the City of McCall.” Applicants must submit an original package of SOQs and six (6) copies.
