SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER II - OVERSTRENGTH
The Airport is seeking to fill an Overstrength Systems Applications Programmer position for the Application & End User Support Team. This position is a temporary, benefited position, with a standard 40 hours per week with an end date of June 30, 2020. The Airport Technology Services Department has the responsibility for administering the Airport’s network & telecom infrastructure, outside plant infrastructure, data centers, application services, website services, business process improvement analysts, and the vendor & project management office. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, plans, organizes, and oversees airside and landside operations at the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. Ensures airport compliance with FAA and TSA regulations, to include the Airport Certification Manual and Airport Security Plan. -Oversees Airport Operations Department to include evaluating and scheduling Operations Supervisors -Oversees all airport Part 139 records -Assists in developing and implementing annual AEP review and triennial exercise -Assists in the completion of Annual Based Aircraft Survey -In coordination with the Badging and Training Specialist, oversees and maintains training programs for airfield driving and security badges -Develops priorities for airfield maintenance projects including but not limited to airfield painting, crack sealing, and pavement repair -Oversees the timely repair of parking lot outages -Conducts FAA Part 139 airfield inspections -Inspects airport facilities - Issues NOTAMs as required by airfield conditions
