Dane County Regional Airport (MSN), Madison, WI One year, full-time, professional internship with exposure to airport operations, security, facilities management, and administration. Qualified candidates will be recent graduates of an aviation management degree field or equivalent and have the ability to plan, organize, set priorities, and carry out assignments as directed. Aviation related experience and/or operational knowledge and understanding of 14 CFR Part 139, Certification of Airports, and applicable FAA Advisory Circulars preferred. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION The Division responsible for creating, implementing and managing all commercial real property contracts licenses and leases involving John Wayne Airport. Also evaluates and assesses the effectiveness of business partner relationships to ensure a high level of customer service, safety, security and efficient operations. To support these functions, the division is comprised of Asset Management and Insurance Units. JWA's is in compliance with all Local, State and Federal laws, ordinances and environmental regulations. THE OPPORTUNITY The position will perform highly complex work related to airport property acquisitions, commercial/retail real estate appraisals, requests for proposals (RFP), leases, contracts, and property management functions related to the airlines, concessions, general aviation, real estate and ground transportation that directly affect the daily operations of the airport.
