02/11/20 AIRPORT INTERN This is a ten (10) week, temporary position that consists of on-the-job training and special projects as assigned by the Airport Director. Start date for this internship will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Duties include aiding and assisting in daily airfield operations, airport development, and the maintenance of airport facilities. Responsibilities include accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks involving written and oral reports relating to the examination, analysis, and assessment of all aspects concerning management in aviation. This internship will provide exposure to the various departments within the Manassas Regional Airport and is comprised of three management disciplines: Airport Administration, Airport Operations, and Airport Maintenance. Housing is included with the internship and provided through George Mason University summer intern housing located in Fairfax, Virginia.
