AIRPORT MANAGER - CIC
The City of Chico is seeking an Airport Manager for the Chico Municipal Airport (CIC). The Airport Manager will report to the Public Works Director - Operations and will manage, plan, and direct airport operations, maintenance, construction, economic development, marketing, and long term planning activities; implement policies and procedures; ensure compliance; and develop programs and strategies to maximize the potential of the Chico Municipal Airport as a municipal enterprise. To be considered for this position, it is preferred for candidates to have five years of increasingly responsible experience in airport administration with knowledge of FAA regulations and grant programs. Education should be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in aviation management, public or business administration, or a closely related field.
