AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
The University Park Airport (KUNV) is in search of an Airport Operations Manager. The Pennsylvania State University, owns and operates the University Park Airport as well as the fixed base operation: the Penn State Aviation Center located in State College, PA. University Park Airport, holder of a Class 1 FAR Part 139 Operating Certificate, is a primary non-hub commercial service airport with four (4) airlines; Allegiant, American, Delta and United. University Park Airport has experienced record growth in passenger enplanements in both 2018 and 2019. In calendar year 2019 KUNV recorded 190,000 plus passenger enplanements. Major capital improvement projects proposed for 2020 include construction of a new 8,300 sf ARFF facility, rehabilitation of parallel Taxiway A and acquisition of multiple pieces of snow removal equipment. AIRPORT MANAGEMENT OFFICER I
The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA) is currently accepting applications for the position of Airport Management Officer I (AMO I) within the Office of Airport Operations at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall). The Airport Management Officer I (AMO I) is responsible for assisting the Airport Operations Supervisor in coordinating and overseeing the 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week, operation of Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). The AMO I ensure the safe and efficient operation of all aircraft, airport support equipment, terminal buildings and other airport property that provide a service to BWI's tenants and the traveling public. During non-business hours the AMO I share in overseeing the functioning, physical maintenance and administration of BWI. Employees may be required to work rotating shifts, which include evenings, nights and weekends. This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.
