DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SUMMER 2020 INTERNSHIPS
Denver International Airport is the 20th-busiest airport in the world and the 5th-busiest airport in the United States, serving 64.5 million passengers last year and generating more than $26 billion for the region annually. DEN is the largest and newest commercial airport in the United States and consists of 15 million square feet of built environment. Denver International Airport is hiring 23 interns for various divisions for the Summer or 2020. Positions vary from Equity and Inclusion, Engineering, Operations, Planning, Design, Financial Analysis, Safety, Way-finding, Concessions, Marketing, to Computer Science opportunities. These are on-call positions with an expected start date of June 1st, 2020 and an end date of August 7th, 2020. AIRPORT OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE II
Purpose of Job The purpose of this job is to ensure that airport operations are carried out safely and efficiently and in accordance with pertinent regulations and policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Oversees and inspects aircraft operating areas at the Airport for compliance with established Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and City policies and regulations and maintains records of inspections as required by the FAA.
