AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Typical duties: Maintain the Airport to FAA standards, enforce City ordinances, airport rules and regulations; Perform skilled/semi-skilled labor in the maintenance/repair of airport buildings, hangers, pavement, airfield lighting, security lighting/fencing, and other facilities and grounds; Perform daily inspections of all airport safety, security and operational areas and equipment including runway/taxiways, airfield lighting, parking aprons, hangars, terminal buildings, fuel storage areas, perimeter fences, and gates for compliance with Federal, State and local airport rules and regulations; Respond to, and operate emergency response vehicle, to provide assistance during aircraft emergencies (in conjunction with Fire, Police and FAA personnel), facility equipment failure, navigational aids, airfield lighting failures, building/structure emergencies, pavement failures, hazardous incidents and related emergency situations; Maintain records, complaint resolutions, maintenance/repair logs, vehicle inspection forms, daily work logs, FAA inspection records, etc.; Respond to routine questions/complaints/requests for service; initiate problem resolution

PROJECT MANAGER
Responsible for managing, coordinating and directing the pre-design, design and construction of capital improvement projects (CIP). This involves coordinating and directing all activities and personnel involved in the implementation and completion of projects and contracts including but not limited to pre-design, design, scheduling, construction, budget and compliance. Specific duties may include: managing and maintaining design/construction schedules, plan reviews; assisting in the development of schedules for bidding, construction, cost estimates and investigating and resolving schedule conflicts; conducting pre-bid meetings, evaluating bidders and conducting pre-construction meetings; addressing major issues prior to the beginning of and during construction; ensures no airport safety hazards are created and construction operations do not interfere with daily Airport operations; and inspecting work in progress to ensure it complies with contractual and funding source requirements.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
This is a professional airport operations position which exercises a high level of discretion and judgment regarding a wide variety of duties both independently and supervised for all airport operations. The position exercises considerable confidential and independent decision making in response to difficult situations involving airside, landside and terminal operations. The Airport Operations Manager provides work assignments, instructions, and evaluations through observations, reports, inspections, and discussion. The primary mission of the position is compliance with Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 139– Certification of Airports, and the Airport Certification Manual.
