CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
The position is responsible for the management of the Mobile Regional Airport and the Downtown Airport at Brookley; a general aviation facility, located within the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookely. Provide coordination among various departments and individuals necessary for effective and efficient operations, set priorities, establish sound management and leadership practices. Solve problems and conflicts among operating and support departments. Implement Board and Executive Director policies by interpreting and coordinating with staff. Direct broad range of institutional research, procedural and administrative studies and preparation of reports and recommendations related to same. Enforce Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations governing airport/airfield use and recommends modifications in existing rules and regulations. Collaborate with the Executive Director to initiate and direct the preparation of plans for airport expansion. Develop the annual budget; submit budget recommendations; and monitor expenditures.

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Responsible for the planning, organizing and general supervision of the Airport’s airside operations and airport grounds. Responsible for oversight and coordination of communications, aircraft noise and environmental issues, airport certification, and coordination of repairs and maintenance of airside facilities and equipment. Assure compliance of all relevant federal and state aviation regulatory agency rules and regulations that pertain to safety and security (FAR Part 139 and CFR 1542) as required for an FAA commercially certificated airport. Oversee the inspection of runways, taxiways, and related aircraft ground operational areas for proper maintenance and safety conditions; evaluate wildlife/bird strike hazards; open and close runways and taxiways; ensure that the facility continually operates under certification requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare reports on operations and activities. Establish schedules and methods for providing airfield maintenance services.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
The purpose of the Airport Operations Coordinator is to provide support to all functions of the Operations section of Ellington Field (EFD). Selected candidate will inspect aircraft movement areas based on FAR 139 and FAA Spaceport requirements. Identifies and communicates operational, safety, and security concerns with Control Tower. Participates in various phases of emergency management, irregular operations, special operations, and special events, while also interacting with airport tenants, federal agencies, military, general public, and airport management. Monitors and reviews construction plans and maintenance work activities in operational areas. Collaborate with airport tenants to ensure compliance with airport leases, contracts, standards and policies/procedures. Identifies violations and ensures penalties are carried out. May lead or manage employees in the absence of a supervisor. Initiates Self Service Fuel and NOTAMS as required by federal regulations to maintain an operation log of airfield activities.

AIRPORT INTERNSHIP
The Northern Colorado Regional Airport is seeking a highly motivated individual to participate in a twelve month internship program. This program is intended to provide a comprehensive start to a future professional in the airport management and operations field. At the end of the internship period the individual to be able to demonstrate knowledge of airport management and operations through a wide variety of hands-on experience. The duties will be directly related to the management and operation of the Airport and will involve both inside and outside work. Work duties will generally include airport management functions, airfield operations, airport maintenance activities (including operation of maintenance equipment), airport finance and budgeting, marketing and promotions, aircraft rescue and firefighting, and special projects including the participation in the innovative Colorado Remote Air Traffic Control Tower Project.
