AIRPORT MANAGER
Plans, organizes, administers, executes, and champions all operational and developmental phases of Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY). Under the general policy direction of AvPORTS, this position leads, plans, oversees, implements, manages and directs all Activities of the Airport, in accordance with FAA, TSA, and other applicable federal, state and local government regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supervising the overall Airport operation and various division managers to manage and direct the financial, development, land, business, security, construction and related functions of the Airport. The incumbent is accountable for accomplishing Airport planning and operational goals and objectives, and for furthering the Authority’s goals and objectives within general policy guidelines.

AIRPORT MANAGER
This position is responsible to the Tweed-New Haven Airport for the safe and efficient daily management, operation and maintenance of the Airport, compliance with rules, regulations and policies affecting the airport and airport personnel, as issued by all pertinent authorities. The Airport Manager may delegate such technical duties as circumstances require, but without relinquishing his/her personal responsibilities. 1.On site managing of the fulfillment of contractual obligations of AvPorts to the client. 2.Managing employees at Tweed-New Haven Airport. 3.Report information and respond to concerns of the Authority relative to Airport management. 4.Establishing such controls as are necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the airport. 5.Administer and enforce tenant agreements and use agreements. Enforcing airport rules and regulations. 6.The airport is operated for the benefit of the public, with a high degree of service consciousness, enhances the airport's image for both users and adjacent communities.
