SECURITY OPERATIONS MANAGER
This position manages personnel and programs to comply with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other federal, state, and city regulations required to operate Charlotte Douglas International Airport. He/she manages and directs the work of the Security Operations and Access Control, Credentialing, Security Construction, Security Compliance, and the Airport Locksmiths as well as the contract services for Traffic Control. This position manages the Airport Security Program, ensures compliance with TSR Part 1542, acts as the Alternate Airport Security Coordinator, and serves as primary contact for the Assistant Federal Security Directors and the lead Transportation Security Inspector. He/she occupies a significant role in the organization ensuring the security of persons at the Airport. Under emergency conditions, reacts quickly, calmly, and exercises independent judgement and initiative to protect persons, property, and ensures compliance. Exercises considerable independent judgement and initiative, and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders and the public.
