MANAGER OF AIRPORT COMMUNICATIONS
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an individual with experience managing an emergency or public safety dispatching environment to join our Operations & Public Safety team and lead our Airport Communications Center. The Manager of Airport Communications is a key member of the Operations & Public Safety team and reports to the Vice-President. The Manager is responsible for overseeing, directing, coordinating, and managing the operations of the 24/7 Airport Communications Center at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The Airport Communications Center is a dynamic hub that is responsible for dispatching police, fire, and medical resources for emergency and non-emergency situations, providing operational and customer service support, and overseeing other safety and security systems, such as video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, public notification, and mass notification. The Manager is also responsible for directing and coordinating center-wide programs to effectively support internal units and collaborate with external resources.

MANAGER, SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
1.Develop and manage the Authority-wide small business development program in accordance with Authority and local, state and federal regulations and sound professional practices; plan and facilitate outreach programs to educate and recruit disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE’s) and assist DBE’s in overcoming barriers such as bonding, financing, certification and technical assistance; serve as the DBE Liaison Officer for the Authority. 2.Manage staff involved in monitoring compliance of contractors and concessionaires with contract provisions and Authority requirements; facilitate meetings with managers, staff and representatives of DBE’s to determine how to handle potential compliance problems and reconcile disputes. 3.Participate in the state-wide unified certification program; monitor program expenses, contracts and assigned consultants; represent the Authority in meetings with professional and community groups. 4.Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment; monitor performance and provide coaching for employee improvement and development; recommends compensation to recognizes performance.

AIRPORT PLANNER
JOB SUMMARY: Performs highly complex professional planning activities involving advanced planning and special projects. Work involves assisting in directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities and operations of assigned section. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversees and performs highly complex and sensitive planning projects, research and analysis in accordance with strategic long and short range planning activities of the City. Participates in development and administration of community development goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Directs, coordinates, reviews and participates with professional and technical staff collecting data, analysis, plan formulation and implementation. Monitors and evaluates implementation of different development programs, projects and activities to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Reviews statistical reports and analyzes market and economic conditions. Reviews and administers project budgets. Recommends use of land for residential, commercial, industrial and community uses. Oversees development review process. Serves as primary City liaison with multiple state, regional and local boards and committees.

TRANSPORTATION PLANNER
JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, performs professional planning work with both administrative and technical responsibilities for proposed transportation projects. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Prepares studies for proposed transportation projects. Researches, collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data related to transportation planning. Designs and interprets transport and transportation surveys to identify areas of public concern. Reviews, monitors, and processes plans for transportation systems with applicable transportation regulations. Generates and interprets data from traffic modeling software, geographic information systems or associated databases. Produces environmental documents, such as environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. Reviews and analyzes information from traffic counting programs. Participates in public meetings or hearings to explain planning proposals, to gather feedback from those affected by projects, or to achieve consensus on project designs. Sets up for and attends off-site meetings. Acts as a resource to and liaison between City Departments as well as external contacts. Provides technical guidance and direction.

RAMP CONTROLLER
The role of the entry level position is to control ramp operations for ramps 3 and 4 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport through the performance of a variety of duties as dictated by operational requirements that include; providing commercial pilots with pushback and taxi instructions through a VHF frequency; actively interact with FAA personnel to determine RNAV runway assignments and configurations; assure compliance with minimum standards and regulations relating to all tenants including airline and ramp procedures.
