AIRPORT DIRECTOR - KHSA
The Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission is seeking an Airport Director for the Stennis International Airport (KHSA) to plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with construction, maintenance, and operation of airport and spaceport facilities in accordance with governmental agency or commission policies and regulations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with spaceports, Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) or Certified Member (CM) status with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), and FAA private pilot licensed is preferred.Filing Deadline: April 19, 2019.

ASSISTANT AIRPORT MANAGER
Perform airport administrative functions to include: General accounting functions, including monthly reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll & benefit processing. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data in relation to the preparation of the financial statements and audit. Assist the Airport Manager in Airport Security, Employee training, and ensuring regulatory compliance with various agencies. Assist airport operations with equipment maintenance, snow removal, and air field operations. Ability to obtain Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Certification. Preferred Qualifications; A Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business Finance, Business Management or related field. 3 years aviation experience such as Private Pilot, Fixed Base Operations, airfield operations or other aviation related experience.

The Airside Operations team ensures that the airfield meets all FAR 139 requirements to provide a safe and efficient airfield operating environment for aircraft, vehicles and personnel. This position coordinates airfield maintenance and construction activities and participates in various phases of emergency management and irregular operations, while interacting with airlines, federal agencies, and airport management. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances
