The County of Orange is seeking a Deputy Airport Director, Maintenance for John Wayne Airport (SNA) to plan, organize, and implement strategic actions within the following areas: Central Utility Plant Management, Building Repair and Maintenance, Airfield Repair and Maintenance, and Janitorial Service Contract Management.The ideal candidate will possess graduate studies in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Airport Maintenance Management, or other closely related field. The ideal candidate will also possess at least 10 years of recent, increasing responsibility demonstrating experience in managing issues within an airport or similarly complex setting. Direct experience in at least two of the following is required: airport administration, cooperative strategic planning, infrastructure repair planning, maintenance and utility management, and current infrastructure compliance regulations.Posting Deadline: April 20, 2018.

Assists the AOCC Supervisor with specific airport operations involving airside, landside, security and communications activities of a Part 139 small hub airport. Duties include daily airfield and terminal building inspections to comply with local, state and federal regulations; Airport ID Badge issuance and fingerprinting; assurance of Part 1542 compliance with access control system; NOTAM issuance; responding to inquiries from the public, airport tenants, airlines and governmental regulatory agencies. Involves shift work, weekends and holidays. Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree in aviation management, business administration or related field and the ability to obtain a Texas Class C driver's license. AIRPORT DIRECTOR - MIDDLETOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT(HOOK FIELD), MIDDLETOWN, OHIO
The Airport Director is responsible for the safe operation of the Middletown Regional Airport (MWO) and reports to the Economic Development Director. Major responsibilities include the overall management of the facilities and services, safe operation of all aircraft support operations managed by MWO, and administration of the airport budget and reporting requirements. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to, airport operations, airfield maintenance, administration and oversight of airport tenants and land leases, compliance reporting and the operational and administrative actions associated with these general areas of responsibility. The candidate must be familiar with FAA and ODOT policies and procedures for operating an airport. Employment is contingent upon an education/experience background investigation and a criminal history check. FAA pilot certification is desired but not required.
