AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
This position will direct, plan, organize and oversee Airside/Landside operations activities at John Wayne Airport. The incumbent will oversee administrative activities of the operations division through subordinate operations staff assigned to multiple shifts operating seven days per week; monitor all airfield and terminal activities for compliance with FAA, TSA, state and local regulations, and actively participate in Airport emergencies. In addition, this position supervises four Airport Operation Officers. WORK HOURS The selected candidate should be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. AIRPORT DIRECTOR
The Border Coast Regional Airport Authority is inviting applications for the position of Airport Director. Essential Functions: Develops and directs the implementation of goals, objectives, policies and work standards. Performs a variety of professional airport project duties including preparation and/or approval of design plans, contract review and project management services. Develops and implements management systems, procedures and programs for program evaluation. Directs the preparation of environmental studies and reports relating to airport construction and capital improvement needs and develops specific proposals to meet them. Plans and directs project management activities for a variety of capital and construction improvement projects. Participates in the preparation of plans, specifications, designs, estimates, contracts, schedules, inspection and project monitoring. Initiates and conducts discussions with air service providers, tenants, and leaseholders . Directs the preparation and enforcement of contracts, leases and agreements. Assists in the preparation of Authority budget. Performs related duties as required.

CIVIL ENGINEER II
This position is open until filled with a first review date of April 6, 2018. In addition to the posted salary the City also contributes 4% of your salary to a deferred compensation account. Perform project management functions in support of the Airport Capital Improvement Program; manage, organize the design and construction contracts; coordinate projects with other City staff, outside agencies and user groups and contractors/consultants; provide support for other City projects; serve as technical resource for department personnel; and develop and manage project budgets. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2 years engineering experience. Aviation experience preferred.
