2019 COS AIRPORT INTERNSHIP - OPERATIONS/SECURITY
INTRODUCTION: Colorado Springs Airport is offering a rigorous Operations/Security Internship position. The Intern is assigned to work under the supervision of the Airport Operations Department and will be immersed in a variety of projects relating directly to airport operations and security. The Intern will gain experience in airfield safety and inspections, emergency response, snow removal, airfield maintenance and construction. EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: The 2019 program lasts 1,600 Hours, with two weeks of unpaid vacation PAY & BENEFITS: The Intern receives bi-weekly pay of up to $1,024 for a 32 hour work week (50 weeks) or 40 hour work week (40 weeks) Candidates my be working towards a bachelor's or graduate degree in aviation or related discipline.
