AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Acts as airport management’s representative and assists in the enforcement of airport regulations, resolving problems/queries with established operating procedures and security protocols. Conducts airfield inspections; identifying, preventing, and/or removing all hazards to aviation including FOD, wildlife, obstructions, etc. Issues and records all NOTAMS. Investigates and logs all aircraft noise complaints. Oversees daily construction activities to ensure safety of operations areas around construction site. Acts as a liaison between Air Traffic Control, Morristown ARFF and all responding agencies during emergencies. Assists U. S. Customs and Border Protection and Department of Agriculture officials during international arrivals. Conducts daily and periodic safety and quality control inspections of aviation fuel storage facility and monitors fueling operations. Operates the landing fee system, including logging landings, processing payments, generating invoices and statements, and customer service. Responsible for airport security, including badging, gate, and camera systems. Member of the Snow Removal Team. Performs other duties as assigned.

A strong candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage staff, ensure the timely resolution of unexpected technical challenges, and develop and execute a scheduled preventive care program. An outstanding track record in cross-departmental collaboration, organization, and record keeping is crucial to success in this position which requires proactive communication with internal stakeholders as well as tenants. Experience remaining in compliance with regulation, preferably under the FAA, is also essential.

9213 AIRFIELD SAFETY OFFICER
SFO is recruiting for Airfield Safety Officers to patrol and inspect the airfield and other facilities as well as conduct investigations to enforce the Airport’s Security Program and to ensure compliance with Federal, Airport and Transportation Security Regulations. This position controls and enforces Airport regulations and gives out admonishments for violations; ensures compliance with and enforces proper procedures; responds to and investigates security breaches and all airfield incidents and accidents, and performs other related duties. Ideal candidate has situational and spatial awareness, an understanding of aviation terminology and an ability to stay calm under pressure. Desired candidate has working knowledge of CFR Part 139; experience in communicating with a 2-way radio; a Pilot’s certificate; excellent oral and written communication skills; and holds certification under the AAAE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Operations program. PUBLIC INFORMATION MANAGER
Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) is recruiting for a Marketing Manager (Public Information Manager). The incumbent will lead a team of creative professionals to develop, execute and continually evaluate the Airport’s marketing programs and initiatives that drive growth in passengers, non-airline revenue and awareness of the Airport’s value to the communities it serves. The Marketing Manager leads the Airport’s engagement in owned and paid media, including advertising, sponsorship programs, grassroots/experiential marketing, influencer and social media marketing, multimedia content development and production, and the Airport’s website. This position is also responsible for managing the Airport’s contract(s) with outside creative agencies and consultants. While this position is not primarily responsible for earned media and community outreach, the incumbent may be required to assist the Division by delivering public presentations, and serving as a Public Information Officer and/or representing the Airport at community events, including on evenings and weekends.
