AIRPORT MANAGEMENT INTERN
Columbia Metropolitan Airport— 10-week (June-August) Operations Department Summer Internship Opportunity—Duties include badge issuance/training, airside/landside inspections, wildlife hazard management & tenant fuel farm/fuel truck inspections. Requirements: FT student at a four-year college or university in the Southeast Region of AAAE with an accredited aviation management or similar program. Junior or Senior measured by credit hours or recent graduate (within 1 year). Actively pursuing a career in airport management, operations, planning, or closely related airport or aviation management field. Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
The Aviation Department Technology Division is seeking to fill the Database Administrator (DBA) position. The successful candidate for this position will be managing, maintaining, and supporting Aviation department’s highly available, efficient and secure database environments that supports mission critical business systems including but not limited to Parking Revenue and Control, Geographic Information, Access Control and Alarm Monitoring, Identity Management, Video Surveillance, Automated Vehicle Identification, Business Intelligence, Event Management, Explosives Detection, Baggage Handling, and various passenger facing systems including but not limited to Common Use Check-in and Boarding, Flight Information Display System. The incumbent may supervise analyst/programmers and other support staff involved in the development of new and/or existing information technology systems. The DBA will be primarily responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the databases of variety of systems.
