SUPERVISING COMMUNICATIONS/OPERATIONS DISPATCHER
Positions in this class are located in the Sacramento County Communications Center and the Department of Airports, which are operated on a seven-day, 24-hour basis. Under direction, and through shift leaders, incumbents in this class are responsible for supervising the operations of the Communications Center, as well as planning and coordinating the operations and services of the Communications Center within the department and with outside agencies, as needed.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Ensures airport maintains FAA Certification and compliance at the Boise Airport. Monitors and enforces 49 CFR Part 1542 Airport Security regulations (TSA 1542) and ensures compliance with FAA Part 139 Airport Certification regulations (FAR 139). Provides operational airfield and terminal services including conducting airport safety and security inspections, responding and participating in airport emergencies and incidents, coordinating winter operations events and reporting and communicating airfield or airport conditions, wildlife management and control, terminal crowd control and airport customer service. Handles inquiries and requests from the general public, airport tenants and outside agencies. Makes independent decisions concerning response priorities. Work is performed under general supervision.

AIRPORT SECURITY COORDINATOR
Application Deadline: Position open until filled Job Responsibilities: Under direct supervision of the Deputy Airport Director, this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all TSA regulations and maintaining the airport credentialing system and issuing airport identification media including processing applications, performing background checks, training applicants and printing identifications badges. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the Airport Security Plan, serving as the primary Airport Security Coordinator, coordinating daily operations with TSA and screening contractors, serving as the primary contact for the regional Transportation Security Inspector, and primary liaison and contract manager for the airport security and law enforcement contractor. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for inspecting vehicles and challenging persons entering the SIDA area. Incumbent will provide escorts for personnel and vehicles on the AOA and movement area; enforce AOA, SIDA, and security rules; and conduct security patrols on the AOA. Incumbent will perform all other duties as assigned.

PROJECT INSPECTOR
Under the administrative direction of the Director of Planning and Engineering, the Project Inspector works with the RRAC Project Manager (PM) and is the on-site eyes and ears monitoring construction projects through final acceptance. They must be able to interpret plans and specifications; observe construction activities to ensure conformance with plans and specifications; serve as the RRAC’s liaison with the contractor, and Architect/Engineer(AE); maintain all required project records; confirm pay items in contractors’ pay applications; work flexible hours to match construction activities; and other duties as assigned.•Review design documents for constructability at each AE submission phase and compare technical specifications against drawings to make sure there are no discrepancies;•Attend building code and fire marshal inspections, and assist in resolving issues with AE and Contractor;•Verify that materials and equipment warranties, operating and maintenance manuals, contractor daily logs, as-builts, and other items required by the specifications have been provided;

Provides a variety of administrative support and training duties to assist an airport supervisor. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 16:00-00:30. Positions assigned to swing shift will receive a shift differential pay of $.80/hour. Must be available to work any shift due to operational need.
