AIRPORT MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY: The Airport Manager is responsible for performing professional administrative and supervisory work in the management, operation, and maintenance of both the Cyril E. King Airport (CEKA) and the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (HERA). BASIC DUTIES (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE): Manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of specific functional areas of the Airports and coordinates assigned activities with other sections, departments, outside agencies and the general public. Develops and maintains current on the Airport Certification Manual and the Airport Emergency Plan in accordance with 14 CFR Part 139 requirements. This should include liaison with the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA). Manages all operations of the airport including its terminal, cargo and other buildings within the airport boundaries having a direct involvement with aviation activities, parking places, runways, taxiways and aprons, and the aircraft ramp operations.
