painter
The Painter performs a variety of work, including the preparation and painting of interior and exterior structure surfaces, electrical and mechanical equipment, fences, and furniture. Painters are expected to solve most technical problems themselves. The minimum requirements include graduation from high school and completion of an accredited apprenticeship program. Four years of full-time experience may be substituted for education. Experience performing pavement striping and marking is highly desirable The Port of Oakland requires each incumbent to successfully complete a TSA background check, which will include a fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and a Security Threat Assessment (STA), prior to being considered for this position. In addition, the incumbent in this position will be required to complete and pass a U.S. Customs Airport Security Program Check (19CFR122.182). AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
The Certification & Operations Division of the Santa Barbara Airport currently has an exciting opportunity for an Airport Operations Specialist. This position provides communications and dispatch functions for Airport Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) and Department personnel via radio/telephone consoles; monitors access control and CCTV systems; serves as the Airport’s central point of contact for tenants and outside agencies; and provides assistance to the Airport Operations Supervisor. Additional duties include assuring compliance with TSR Part 1542 and FAR Part 139; issuance of NOTAMs; provide quality customer service, operate CLETS database (requires certification, training provided); initiate airport emergency operations and coordinate emergency services; conduct routine inspections of all Airport facilities; conduct FAR Part 139 inspections; assist in data entry, flight tracking operations, and support of the Airport Noise Advisory Program as required; ensure all records and logs are accurate. MANAGER OF AIRPORT FIRE & OPERATIONS
The Manager of Airport Fire & Operations is an all-encompassing position that involves the overall responsibility of the Airport Firefighters/Operations staff along with the oversight of the day – to – day airport operations. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated and can demonstrate thorough comprehension and implementation of Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) responsibilities along with ensuring operations of airside areas that meet compliances with FAR Part 139, Part 77, TSR 1542, NFPA rules and regulations. This position involves; planning, training, staff scheduling, coordinating and organizing preparedness for emergency responses to include but not limited to; Emergency response to aircraft incidents, medical emergencies, fire suppression along with many other emergency responses outlined in the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP). Additionally, this position will manage the airport’s Part 139 Self-Inspection program.
