MANAGER OF PLANNING & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an experienced airport planner or environmental manager to serve as the Manager of Planning and Environmental Services. This position shall be responsible for managing the planning, organizing, direction, and administration of all planning, environmental, aircraft noise and geographic information system (GIS) programs. The Manager of Planning and Environmental Services reports to the Vice-President of Planning, Engineering and Environmental Management. The Manager of Planning and Environmental Services oversees four distinct program areas -- planning, environmental, noise, and GIS. This position is responsible for the management of key airport documents, studies and programs, including the Airport Layout Plan, Airport’s Master Plan, Airport Capital Improvement Program, Sustainability, Environmental Compliance, Aircraft Noise, and GIS; and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and applicable Federal, State and Local rules and regulations, and RTAA policy. This position exercises direct supervision over the personnel within the assigned program areas.

AIRPORT MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Manassas is looking for a qualified individual to perform skilled work in the maintenance and repair of airport buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds; ensuring the safety of airport personnel, contract workers and the general public. Maintains a variety of airfield equipment: Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs airfield lighting; maintains diesel generator at air traffic control tower including changing oil and maintaining proper battery charge; inspects, maintains and repairs gates at airport including electric and manual gate openers; and repairs replaces chains, casters, rollers, and tires. Performs HVAC maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential units. Performs building maintenance: Conducts electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, painting, and locksmithing. Maintains airport grounds: Mows airport owned properties, runways, and taxiways; plants, trims, edges and weeds beds; trims trees in aircraft approach lanes and roadways; and performs pesticide and herbicide control on airport owned buildings and properties.
