AAAE's position open advertising provides a valuable service to AAAE members, and all revenue the association receives from classified advertising goes directly to the AAAE Foundation. The Foundation has awarded more than 2,700 scholarships totaling $4.25 million since 1989.

04/27/20 DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Director of Airport Operations - ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Assist in conducting all FAR Part 139 required safety inspections, and maintain records of discrepancies and corrective action taken. Develop plan and procedures to obtain and maintain a zero finding FAA audit. Close and open aircraft movement areas as conditions warrant. Issue and cancel Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs) as required. Monitor airfield maintenance conditions, wildlife activity, and other airfield activities to ensure the protection and safety of aircraft operations areas. Maintain accurate time, materials, purchasing and equipment records. Determine maintenance, material and supply needs; schedule and coordinate the use of appropriate City equipment. Prepare specifications for purchase of services, materials and supplies. Supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff; conduct weekly training.
