Columbia Metropolitan Airport seeking an Intern to work alongside our Airport Operations Department. In addition to working with Airport Operations the intern will have the opportunity to work with other departments within our organization to include our Department of Public Safety. The intern’s duties may include; airport security badge issuance and training, airside and landside inspections, wildlife hazard management, and tenant fuel farm and fuel truck inspections. The internship is a 10-week period set to take place during the months of June – August, with the exact dates to be determined based on the intern’s availability. AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
The Capital Region Airport Commission is currently seeking applications for Airport Operations Officer to assist our Operations Division. Under the direction of Airport Operations Supervisor, responsibilities include daily inspection and compliance of applicable airport rules and regulations. Knowledge of basic airport management or completion of a bachelor’s degree in airport aviation management, public administration, business administration, or related field preferred. Experience in Airport Operations at an FAR Part 139 airport preferred (including internship). Starting salary $17.17 per hour.
