AIRPORT FACILITY & AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE MANAGER
The Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) is accepting applications for the position of Airport Facility & Airfield Maintenance Manager. Under the direction of the Aviation Director, oversees the maintenance and repair of the airport facilities, airfield, equipment, and grounds. Guides, directs, trains, coaches, and manages airport maintenance and custodial team members. Develops and oversees the department operating budget. Assists in the development and execution of airport capital improvement projects. Minimum Associates degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in airport facility repair, airfield maintenance services, grounds maintenance, and custodial services. Supervisory experience preferred. Salary: $71,978 with competitive benefits package through the City of Durango including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(a) retirement plan, 11 paid holidays, paid time off, and more.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST II
Work involves providing innovative business development support and activities for all entities of the Port of Huntsville with an emphasis on generating revenue through land sales and leases, increased air cargo, rail cargo and passenger activity. The incumbent gathers information and provides support for air service development through research and identifying resources to be used in analysis, tracking and processing industry trends. Additionally, incumbent maintains strong working relationships within air service, air cargo and rail cargo business and industry. Incumbent also maintains strong relationships with economic development entities. Incumbent also provides support for proposals/presentations, RFPs, studies, and reports. This position is also part of the media relations team. Applicant should have knowledge of principles and methods of marketing, business development, communications, and community and economic development. As well as knowledge of principles and methods for moving people and goods by air, rail or road including the relative costs and benefits.
