AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (AVIATION SECURITY)
San Francisco International Airport (SFO), an extraordinary industry leader, provides exceptional service to our communities. As safety and security is SFO’s first priority, we are looking for a dynamic leader to be an Airport Operations Supervisor in our Aviation section. This individual will supervise staff who are assigned to perform duties ensuring a safe, secure and efficient operation of the Air Operations Area and other airport facilities. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring aviation security plans are in compliance with Transportation Security Regulations (TSR), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) issued security directives and Airport Security Program (ASP). He/she will also develop and implement comprehensive aviation security plans, ensure compliance and enforce proper procedures, develop and implement aviation security trainings, and perform detailed analysis to recommend ways to improve aviation security programs. SSC AIRSIDE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
CLASS SUMMARY: Maintains airport safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations including Federal Air Regulation 139, the Airport Certification Manual, and other applicable rules and regulations. Conducts all required safety inspections and maintains records of discrepancies and corrective action taken, issuing notices to pilots, monitoring airfield maintenance conditions, wildlife activity, and other airfield activities to ensure the protection and safety of the aircraft operations area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department. Conducts safety inspections of the airfield and ramp areas at least daily and more often as conditions warrant. Reviews NOTAMs daily for accuracy and issues NOTAMS when necessary. Represents Safety, Security & Compliance Administration at pre-construction meetings, acts as point of contact for CVG related to airfield or Federal Aviation Administration projects.

AIRPORT MANAGER
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or a related field required; supplemented by five years of related Aviation Management or airport operations experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
