AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Airside-Inspects airfield for compliance with FAA and TSA regulations pertaining to federal standards and requirements to ensure the operational readiness and security of the airport. Typical duties include: escorts aircraft and equipment, monitors construction on the air operations area to ensure compliance with local airport and federal aviation requirements, coordinates opening/closing of movement areas with ATC and airfield tenants to ensure safety of people and aircraft, other duties as assigned. Security-Inspects airport in compliance with TSA requirements, operates/monitors the Airport Access Control System, other duties as assigned. Landside-Inspects terminal areas, responds to passenger incidents, assists with terminal related security matters, other duties as assigned. Acts as liaison between the Department and the tenants to provide information and service to tenants regarding the use of airport facilities. AVIATION MANAGER
Salary Range: $66,000 - $86,625 Job Functions: Serves as the Manager of the Tavares Seaplane Base airport (FA1), including fueling operations, marina, retail store and airport terminal building, park grounds and facilities and Splash Park. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business management or equivalent from an accredited institution.
