Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Maintenance, the Operations Supervisor manages landside and airside activities ensuring safety, security, and compliance with applicable regulations. AIRPORT MECHANIC - MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL
The Airport Mechanic is responsible to maintain all aspects of the airport grounds, equipment and facilities. Through on the job training, each Airport Mechanic will be responsible to operate equipment including but not limited to; landscaping tractors, front loaders, backhoes, forklifts, bucket trucks, street sweepers and snow removal equipment. The Airport Mechanic maintains buildings and offices, vehicles, and equipment. Although the ideal applicant will have previous experience in any trade, previous experience in plumbing, carpentry or HVAC would be preferred.

OPERATIONS FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Responsible for assisting the Airport Manager in planning, organizing and directing administration of Westfield-Barnes Airport. Directly responsible for supervising and coordinating subordinate personnel in the operations and maintenance of the municipally owned airport. Assist the Airport Manager with the daily operational and administrative responsibilities. Reports directly to the Airport Manager. Performs duties requiring a high degree of individual initiative with indirect supervision. Operates the airport within guidelines established by Airport Commission policy, MassDOT law and FAA regulation, utilizing the parameters of good judgment and established business practices. Supervises all operations and maintenance personnel of Airport Department directly. May supervise assigned intern(s) at times.
