AAAE's position open advertising provides a valuable service to AAAE members, and all revenue the association receives from classified advertising goes directly to the AAAE Foundation. The Foundation has awarded more than 2,700 scholarships totaling $4.25 million since 1989.

05/21/21 AIRPORT MANAGER - AIRSIDE The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Airport Manager in the Aviation Operations Division - Airside section. This is advanced specialized work in the management of all activities related to Airside Operations ensuring compliance with FAR Part 139 at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). This includes contractual oversight and management of FLL's Ramp Control agreement and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) agreement. The Airport Manager for Airside Operations should possess a thorough understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulations pertaining to Airside Operations at a large hub commercial service airport to include FAR Part 139, FAR Part 77, NFPA 407, CFR 1542, Florida State Statute Chapter 330, NFPA 407, ICAO Annex 14, Broward County Code of Ordinances Chapters 2 and 8.5, Aviation Department Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
