ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC PLANNING - METROPOLITAN KNOXVILLE AIRPORT AUTHORITY
The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MNAA) is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Strategic Planning who will be responsible for organizational strategy, planning, land use, and master planning. Other responsibilities include overseeing short- and long-term planning efforts to set organizational direction and meeting with business and civic leaders to discuss technical matters and future planning endeavors. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning or a related field and over ten (10) years of management experience, including project management, engineering, planning, strategy development or related experience. OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
The Louisville Regional Airport Authority (LRAA) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to ensure safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139 and Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising the Operations department part-time personnel, managing the use of airport facilities, and assist with airport projects and initiatives. AVIATION WRITER
Position Summary Writes, edits, and coordinates the delivery of high-quality, compelling, and engaging aviation safety educational material for the AOPA Air Safety Institute (ASI) in support of its mission to improve general aviation safety through industry-leading research, education, and outreach. Primary Responsibilities and Duties Writes engaging and compelling video scripts for accident case studies, real pilot stories, safety videos, documentaries, and more. Writes safety-related articles and product stories for various channels including the Air Safety Institute’s website, newsletters, marketing emails, and AOPA magazines. Writes and edits content for the Air Safety Institute’s in-person and online flight instructor renewal courses. Manages the Air Safety Institute’s outreach and product tracking calendars to determine which ASI products and other areas of safety-related interests should be covered in various publications and other outlets. Researches subject matter for added credibility and persuasiveness.
